For this garment I was inspired by the geometry of stained glass windows. In my early samples, I relied heavily on dyeing my knits to show the vibrancy of stained glass from Roman Cathedrals or Art Deco. When approaching the final product I decided to focus on how shapes created on the knitting machine can be structured on the body in a similar way of how stained glass panels are designed on windows.
